An Entertaining Swing Venue "Swing This" is a musical review that combines live vocals, dancing and even juggling! The show ranges from fast paced and high energy to romantic and steaming. It is loosely based upon the "show within a show" concept. Our performers have been showcased at such venues as the CBGB Gallery in NYC and the Friar Tuck Inn and Pleasant Acres in the Catskills The fleet is in town and one adventurous sailor is out exploring the big city. He instantly falls head over heels for a doll. This young sailor encounters a local handsome bartender, who invites him to the club where he works - the "Moondance Cafe", a local jazz and swing hot spot. The club opens and the featured vocalist begins his set. The lights dim and the music starts to simmer. Soon he breaks into song, singing such standards as "Moondance", "My One and Only Love" and" Bye, Bye Blackbird" along with other songs like "Besame Mucho" thrown in for good measure. During the course of the evening, our young sailor sees "his doll" again and the "romance" begins. He is easily taken in by her charm and beauty but can only play her flirtatious game for so long. So he carefully and "gingerly" approaches her... Together they swing & salsa to the sounds of the band. Each time they dance our young sailor tries to win her love...will true love ever prevail???
