Bower Web Solutions helps Children's Aid and "DMC" Promote Foster Care/Adoption
On Monday, May 12, 2008, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels visited Children's Aid and Family Services' flagship location at 200 Robin Road in Paramus to announce his partnership with the agency at a press conference. McDaniels, one third of the legendary rap group Run-DMC, is credited with breaking rap into mainstream music in the early 1980s. McDaniels, who learned he was adopted at the age of 35, enthusiastically announced his partnership with the agency, sharing his personal adoption story with the audience and pledging his commitment to raise awareness of the thousands of children currently in the foster care/adoption system in New Jersey. To that end, he has recorded audio and video public service announcements, spent time with the children in the agency's care and served as the speaker at the agency's Children's Motivational Awards Dinner.
Bower Web Solutions has worked with Children's Aid and Family Services on its ad campaign, creating compelling visuals of DMC that are featured on highway billboards, NJ Transit bus ads, newspaper ads and displays in the Paramus Park Shopping Center and Willowbrook Mall.
