How long does it take to get a logo designed?
Once you place your logo order and your payment has cleared, you will normally have your first logo proof within 2-3 business days hours unless you ordered the "Basic" starter package, which typically takes 4-6 business days. Each alteration takes between 1 - 2 business days.

How do I know which file formats / resolution I need?
We have created File Format packages to make using your logos in your different projects easier.
For on screen work (i.e. web pages; Power Point and Flash presentations, e-mail) - use files from any SCREEN files.
For printing "in-house" (i.e. to your personal ink jet or laser printer ) - you can get by with using the "medium resolution" files found it our PRINT files.
For professional print jobs (i.e to be done on a printing press) - you must use the "high resolution files" found in our PRESS files.

Can you e-mail my logo design directly to my local print shop?
Yes, assuming you have given us the contact information for your printer including e-mail address and/or FTP address. We will send them any of the file types we have sent you and they will use the most suitable format. If you notice that the logos they are using are pixelated (blurry) please let them know as they might have used the low resolution logo meant for on screen use by mistake, rather than the high resolution logo for high quality printing.

Does PayPal charge fees to open an account or to send money?
No. It is free to open and send money using a PayPal account. HOWEVER, they DO charge modest fees for their Premier and Business members to receive payments. Bower Web Solutions has a Business member account, for which Pay Pal charges additional fees in order to accept a transaction. If you do plan to use Pay Pal to send payment for your logo, we will need to charge you an additional 3% added on to the total cost to cover these fees.
If you still wish to pay with Pay Pal, and have questions regarding Premier and Business member Pay Pal accounts or the extra sur charges these account incur, please contact us.
You may also pay via a major credit card with our online payment form.

What is the difference between vector and raster logos?
Vector logos (Illustrator EPS files) can be enlarged as much as you want without losing quality. Vector-based images use mathematical calculations to enlarge or decrease in size. They are ideal for large format printing such as billboards or posters as well as standard printing projects such as business cards and letterheads. Vector images are also small in file size and therefore easier to e-mail and quicker to print from when using a laser printer that understands the PostScript computer language.
Raster images (TIFF, BMP, PSD files) will lose quality when they are enlarged so the final product may look "blocky" if enlarged too much. Although large in file size than their Vector-based counterparts, raster based logos are a little easier to enhance with drop shadows and 3D effects such as embossing.

Will I be happy with my logo design?
We ask all of our logo client several questions about their company and what they are looking for in a logo before we even begin work. This way we can insure that we are on track from the very first draft. Since we do not send you the final logo until you approve it, and combined with the fact that you are entitled to a number alterations (depending on which package you choose) you should wind up feeling very happy with the final product. If for some reason you feel we are misunderstanding your needs or cannot design your logo to your satisfaction, we will refund whatever money you have paid (minus the $50 non-refundable fee), provided we have not reached the stage of providing you with a final proof. We will know before reaching the final proofing stage whether or not we can or cannot design your logo for you.

Where is Bower Web Solutions, Inc. located?
Bower Web Solutions is based in Ringwood, New Jersey USA. As we are an online company, our location has no impact on the quality or speed of our service. We are fully qualified and experienced in logo design. We provide full service to anyone, anywhere in the world but most of our clients tend to be located in the United States, in the New Jersey / New York Area. We feel that by being in United States , is in fact an advantage to most of our North American clients. Many online companies are based in places like India, Russia and other far away location where the distance, the time-zone and language differences, can all be major obstacles in communicating with your designers. The majority of the time, the only way to contact these companies is via e-mail or stay up until 1 am in the morning and place a very expensive long distance phone (if you are fortunate to even get a contact phone number for them in the first place). Although we communicate largely via e-mail ourselves, we are always happy to talk with you directly on the phone to discuss your design. All it takes is one simple (and inexpensive) phone call.
