What Is Our Design Process?

We normally break down a web design project into four phases: Consulting, Design, Development and Implementation:

Consulting

  • initial meeting to learn about your company and its needs
  • formulate an overall strategy for your project (Statement of Work)
  • help you to discover how a web site will benefit your company and clients
  • create an organized "Site Map" for your site
  • set up services such as web hosting, domain names, e-mail, if applicable
  • answer any questions, resolve any technical issues that may arise during the course of the web design project

Design

  • create a static "mock up" of how a typical page in your new web site will look
    NOTE: We will not perform any programming until you are happy with the design.

Development

  • program the actual web pages themselves to build out the site
  • create graphics and insert provided text /image content
  • design multimedia and advanced programming (if needed)
  • program an online store or e-commerce (if needed)
  • program a database system (if needed)

Implementation

  • Testing: on as many different browsers / platforms as possible
  • Site Launch: site is transferred to the web server and is opened to the public
  • Search Engine Submissions: we manually submit your web site to various search engines so potential customers may find you.
